Dog Kennel Hill is a school with an excellent reputation for creativity and inclusion. We believe that creativity should be at the centre of teaching and learning, enabling and inspiring all children to learn and contribute. We have a strongly inclusive ethos, and believe that the inclusion of children with special educational needs is of benefit to the whole school community. Partnership with others supports learning throughout the school, and begins with building positive partnerships with parents and with each other. We have good international links, for example with our partner school in Spain, and work with local artists and museums to provide inspiration and expertise for our children.

On the last Friday before half term, we had a fantastic Apple Day. There were lots of varieties of apples to taste, great fun to be had bobbing and ducking apples, an apple trail in the playground, tours of our orchard, delicious cakes and hot chocolate for sale, and some wonderful apple juice which was pressed before our eyes. It couldn't be fresher! Many thanks to Natasha who organised the celebration. I hope that it will become part of the DKH events calendar.
