Dog Kennel Hill is a school with an excellent reputation for creativity and inclusion. We believe that creativity should be at the centre of teaching and learning, enabling and inspiring all children to learn and contribute. We have a strongly inclusive ethos, and believe that the inclusion of children with special educational needs is of benefit to the whole school community. Partnership with others supports learning throughout the school, and begins with building positive partnerships with parents and with each other. We have good international links, for example with our partner school in Spain, and work with local artists and museums to provide inspiration and expertise for our children.

The first week after half term was maths week. Ms Cranmer and Mr Orton organised a fantastic week of maths events which included lots of exciting workshops for the children, parents and teachers; an entertaining evening of Magic, Mystery and Maths with Rob Eastaway; and finally a climatic last day of maths dressing up, a maths talent show and a line-up of 10p and 2p coins in the playground.
